Origin - North Woods, WI adjective. pronunciation> palms - up. Definition - To pass out off of a bar stool at 8 a.m. after partying for 11 hours. After passing out, the subject is laying face down in a watery pile of boots. The subject's arms are at his/her side with the wrists bent as such that the palms of his/her hands are facing up. After some debate, this state of affairs is said to be an S. O. S. from the passed out subject. Saying non verbally that "I am done, please help me to bed."
1) That kid partied so hard after we got home from the bars we found him palms up in the morning.

2) Hey, what are you doing tonight? Wanna get palms up?
