A place full of Chavs. Smackheads, crackheads, alchies, and druggies. Every street has at least one of these. People who have lived in southmead for most/all their life are known as meaders. Meaders and not allowed to date/have anything to do with Dubbers (Lawrence Weston). Southmead is known as a rough area of Bristol but not as bad as some areas such as Knowle west. Greystoke is where all the chavs and teenagers like to go. Greenway is where all the nutters go. And the new estate is full of stuck up people, or people who have not been part of southmead very long. The old estate is where the true meaders live.
