Very prominent family name that emigrated from France in the late 1800 to the Americas, most specifically to Uruguay.There only a handful with this last name. They left from southwest France the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. It is a department in the southwest corner of France and of the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
