shincheonji

One of many South Korean christian sects, fairly similar to the Moonists and the Unification Church, it is led by Lee Man-hee who claims to be God's second son who will live forever along with anyone who follows him. The term shincheonji is borrowed from the Bible and literally translates to "new heaven and earth". SCJ actively tries to establish churches around the world to appear more trustworthy in their homeland where they struggle to keep their sheeps obedient.
